Core Curriculum and Electives

The Orientation Flight Program is part of our curriculum. A Cadet has at least one flight a semester with hands on the controls of a Cessna.

 

 

The Civil Air Patrol offers the most well rounded Leadership Development Program in the World. Many a Civil Air Patrol Cadet has been sent to the Air Force Academy, graduated and gone on to a great career. The First Female Thunderbird Pilot was a Civil Air Patrol Earhart Award Cadet, Major Nicole Malachowski, now a White House Fellow.

Orientation Flight Program   (No Additional Tuition cost)

We will offer Radio Controlled Aircraft building and flying as one of our electives. This course is to make students aware of the budding billion dollar industry in airborne unmanned aircraft.

Robotics, UAVs, and Radio Control Aircraft

We offer the best physical fitness program, that has been through many years of development by Air Force and military fitness experts. A Cadet that reaches the top rank of Cadet Colonel in CAP meets the same fitness standards that are required for Air Force Para Rescue Candidates

Moral Leadership Program and the Chaplains of Civil Air Patrol

Most people are not aware that Civil Air Patrol has the largest Volunteer Chaplain Service in the World. We also have a 30 year curriculum developed for Cadets called Moral Leadership administered by our Volunteer Chaplains.

About our Curriculum: We use tried and proven aerospace curriculum, academic content, multimedia aids, Cadet participation, test assessment, career overviews, and more to keep the course work interesting to the Cadet. The key focus is interesting curriculum and not the usual fair served up in local private and public schools. Interesting subjects taught well make a difference in student performance!

 

We offer a focus on learning with clear career objectives. Execution of a clear career plan captures a spirit of cooperation, and it is also part of our leadership training program. The Air Force and the Military have pioneered the use of programmed learning in Technical Schools. We will capitalize and improve on that technique for instructing our Cadets. In the end the Cadets are given the opportunity to TAKE THE LEAD!
